Carmanah manufactures solar panel and lighting products for unique off-grid applications.
Initially, White Box was asked to do an audit of Carmanah’s existing design approach, focusing on usability, aesthetics, brand appropriateness, product semantics, materials and manufacturing processes. We were then asked to explore options that would visually enhance the existing design direction and to develop a simple, strong and adjustable mounting bracket for the product that would not impact the tight production schedule.
The result was the EverGEN Solar Engine, a compact, sleek, high-tech looking product that can be easily adjusted to the optimum angle.
